I’ve mentioned this song and artist on other pages of my blog, however, this go around I put the song here as my October 2025 artist and song as a tribute to Mom who named me after her all-time favorite high school guitar player, Duane Eddy; although Mom spelt my name differently: Dwain. Mom will probably be passing away in the next few days or weeks.

The song? “Rebel-‘Rouser” released in 1958. Some of you may recognize the song from the 1994 film, Forrest Gump… when Forrest ran so fast from those bullies he ran plum out of his leg braces and just kept on running!

Anyway, Mom and Dad were very, very good jitter-bug dancers and both could waltz equally as well together.
