14 More States Step Up!

More great news for the 2024 Presidential ballots across the nation! What states are the lawsuits pending against Trump? Well, I for one was shocked by one state, my home state of Texas being included in the list. But I can guarantee everyone that the radical MAGAt Republicans in Austin and our heavily ultra-Conservative state Supreme Court justices will take less than 10-minutes to throw-out the lawsuit.

According to Lawfare, there are 14 more states reviewing cases to disqualify Trump from the 2024 Presidential ballot. Who are they? Here is the current list: Arizona, Alaska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Now of course there are a few of these 14 other states besides Texas that won’t even seriously consider banning the Orange Orangutan from the 2024 ballot because they are strong, well-established, conservative Republican states with Red-majorities in too many key offices and court positions.

The U.S. Supreme Court, Washington D.C. will at some point make a decision as to Trump’s appeals

Some states have already dismissed on appeals or by the plaintiffs as these cases are ongoing as I write. Meanwhile, lets enjoy this growing trend in all these states and hope that they continue and perhaps one-third or half of them (and more later?) step up and SAVE this country and true democracy—run by laws, not a man or necessarily “voters”—from this narcissistic autocrat and his cult members, shall we?

      • We can wish and hope, but I wouldn’t hold your breath. IF he has been convicted of his role in J6 before election time, then states might stand a chance of removing him from the ballot, but for now I don’t think SCOTUS will go along. There was a time … a time when the Supreme Court actually acted in a non-partisan manner and ruled according to the Constitution and their consciences, but … those days have been over for several years now. Sigh.

        • Agreed Jill. Our modern SCOTUS justices are heavily political instead of by the letter of the laws as a neutral. They are also gifted all sorts of favors, trips, vacations, and under-the-table “donations” and are not held accountable or honorable by any oversight mechanism. They can only be impeached, and that hasn’t happened but ONCE in our nation’s entire history.

Therefore, as I’ve gotten into this modern problem of total insulation of justices in my multi-part series “A New U.S. Constitution,” these days our SCOTUS is now essentially bribed or bought to suit one political party’s wishes. That is NOT a rule of Constitutional law. Period. 😑

  1. When push comes to shove, I tend to think the Nation’s SC will pooh-pooh the idea and allow him to be on the ballot everywhere. If this does indeed happen, I think all we can hope for is the states that wanted to remove him have enough Anti-Trump voters that he will lose in the long run.

    • That our highest court and justices in the nation strike down all these states is the fear indeed Nan. The fact that our current SCOTUS has already maimed our Constitution and removed previous Landmark decisions by previous court rulings doesn’t bode well.

I sure wish the DOJ would bust a move on Trump’s insurrection charges—move it along guys! πŸ™„

  2. How many States do you need to assure Trump cannot win, even if all his MAGAts get out and vote? I presume it shouldn’t take too many? And who will Republicans likely run in those States? Would that person be able to turn their votes over to Trump somehow? Splitting the vote like that should guarantee a Democrat victory for President, dhould it not?
