Expect the Worst for America(ns) Now

Just as former President George W. Bush forced the United States and its allies into an unnecessary, illegal invasion of Iraq in March 2003, falsely justifying the attack based upon bogus, fabricated WMD weapons inside Iraq, President Donald J. Trump today has gone several steps further and more illegally attacked Iran for even less bogus reasons than the Bush Administration invented 22-years ago.

Many, many serious concerns come to mind after this unprovoked attack on Iran. Very serious ones come to mind that I am quiet sure President Dumb-Rump never considered, much less his incompetent Cabinet.

This is what President Dumb-Rump and his imbecilic MAGA Republicans have now opened up as a Pandora’s Box against Americans and American interests abroad for the next decade or two:

And these eight (8) concerns above are just the beginning. Who knows what domino-effects Dumb-Rump has started for this country and our military personnel and ordinary citizens in the coming decades.

Americans, mark my words this day, the coming weeks, months, and years are going to be a deadly, horrible, economically unnecessary hardship on us that we never had to shoot ourselves with in the foot and head. Bad, bad, BAD move Dumb-Rump!

  2. Very well said and I believe highly accurate. This attack is not only illegal, unconstitutional, immoral and unethical, it is just plain stupid to the point that it will not accomplish any positive outcomes and puts the Mid-east in worse shape that it already was in

  3. You know, it might help the country if when a president like George W Bush – almost as dumb as Trump, not quite, but almost – breaks the law which results in the deaths of THOUSANDS of AMERICANS UNNECESSARILY & HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF IRAQI CIVILIANS, that, oh, I don’t know, maybe they be held accountable?!?! Is the president actually ALLOWED to do such things, knowingly and illegally, and then just walk away, unscathed? Condoleeza Rice, Dick Cheney, and countless others lied through their teeth, Congress knew it at the time and did nothing. Not a friggin thing. Nothing. What stops the next guy from doing the same or worse?

Is that what “Equal Justice Under the Law” means or is it just the most vacuous and specious euphemism in American history because it certainly doesn’t hold any legal consequence.

And American? Asleep at the wheel, as usual…..

    • It’s the sort of thing that nations who reach Great Power / Empire status tend to do. The more influence and strength you have in the world the more threats you see to your stability. The more you feel the need to act. History is littered with them. Your turn USA.*
Tends to get addictive and lead to downfalls, or if you are lucky just declines. We in the UK thus far got lucky we just declined.

*For some reason Russia and China always seem to avoid complete downfall. Must be something to do with geography and constant authoritarian regimes

  4. This. Many people are worried about WW3, but they’re worried about the wrong things. It’s the long term effects that you mentioned. Contrary to what Trump says, this is making the world a less safer place, especially for Americans. Also, the strike was likely illegal. What message does it send when countries choose to ignore the so called rules order?

    • Cogent and valid points.
Sadly down the centuries many a nations / ruler has worked on the principal of Necessitas non habet legem – Necessity Has No Law. It’s an old ploy.
And is difficult enough when Hardened Cynical Grown Ups versed in Realpolitik use it. When it comes to adolescents who never developed such as Trump…who knows. Like frat boys having a barbeque in a forest during a high drought.
For there is a rider that goes with that saying. With many variations it readers ‘Those who start the narrative rarely get to write the last lines’

    • Especially when the country not adhering to the legal order is the United States! We’re supposed to be the adults in the room, and we have an obstinate child in the Oval Office. He breaks the law with complete impunity and without any accountability from anyone. Of course after his defense “secretary” (a Fox News host) and his “secretary” of state, (more delinquent/absentee votes in the Senate) make public comments against the bombing, he does it without telling them!

  5. I don’t mean to be mean to Americans, but I think Trumpshithead just opened up the door to attacks on American soil, beginning with the White House when Trumpfuck is in residence.

I am a dedicated pacifist, but I am also a realist. Iran is not defenseless, and it knows how to infiltrate foreign soils. Trump thinks he is unattackable. I hope they can take him out individually, and they may try, but I think they will use bombs, nuclear bombs if they can get their hands on some — if they don’t have their own already!

    • rawgod, you have every right to be very agitated with American voters. Let it fly, we deserve it.

As far as Iran having nuclear capabilities and/or weapons, they most likely already have it/them, just not armed as of yet. The Dumb-Rump in his never-ending delusions along with his many sycophants think that we can just bomb the “knowledge” of nuclear construction out of the Iranian’s heads. NO! Duh! Israel seems to think the same foolish thing. No, Iran will one day have nuclear weapons, guaranteed.

The world had Iran’s nuclear capability in peaceful check back in July 2015 with the Iran Nuclear Arms Deal and with several significant supporters of it, including China and Russia! But Dumb-ass-Rump gutted it. What an utter moron he is.

The days of solving political and foreign conflicts by violence and war are long gone. What now must happen in the 21st century are much cooler, smarter heads, brilliant negotiating methods, and cunning persuasion as opposed to coercion and/or force. Dumb-Rump has NONE of these qualities nor does his MAGA Cabinet.

  6. Very comprehensive assessment of the What Could Be’s PT. Any combination of these are possible, which makes his delusion that he controls the narrative sardonically laughable.
    There’s that additional one.

The ‘Keep The Violence Within Our Borders and Upon Our Own Minorities’ are very cross with him. He broke his campaign promise. Imagine that Donald Trump breaking a promise! What a shock!

    • Glad you mentioned Dumb-Rump’s 2024 Campaign promise to his base and Americans that he has blatantly reneged on. Forgot about that lie, or pandering and manipulating his base and the American voters back then. Have they suddenly forgotten that too?

But then again, Dumb-Rump’s MO has always been to lie constantly, pander, and ultimately do whatever whim he has despite our government protocols, laws, and the Constitution he vowed (again!) to uphold. Yet, last autumn American voters embraced with a smile this type of Presidential behavior and mentality! Go figure. 😡🤦‍♂️

      • The 2024 presidential election result was a very sad reflection on a substantial portion of the USA.
Those who voted for him. If I stretch my mind and think back to other follies of Humanity there is a level of comprehension (without any shred of approval).
The ones who truly baffle and also annoy me are those who claimed they couldn’t be bothered because they didn’t see any difference between the two candidates.
90,000,000????? (maybe a few million just could not get to vote for one reason or another- but the rest)
Talk about insulting the memory of those who struggled and died for the right to vote and the maintenance of the right to vote

        • I know I’ve said this before, but the single largest voting block in the United States is the “non-voter”; qualified, legal, have all the necessary requirements but just do not vote.

Adding insult to injury, in many if not most cases they are those that have the most to lose by not voting; lower income, single moms, etc. All reasons why voting should be federally mandatory as in some other countries, e.g., Australia. It should be over a weekend, all businesses are closed, there are polls everywhere so no waiting 7-8 hours on a line to vote, etc. and MANDATORY. But we all know that exactly what our politicians – lifelong careers mind you – and the gilded class will never allow.

          • There is a great deal of value in what you say.
Sadly it wouldn’t just be those you accuse, but the fashionable faux-cynical who think it smart not to vote, those who insist on the right not to vote, and lot of folk who object to being told to do their civic duty.

            • I agree, although I don’t hold the lower-income, etc. totally responsible. You are correct, there are those that think it is below them somehow to vote due to the repulsive nature of Washington D.C., and others that hold it as a “right.” Although in my family, we were not allowed to complain or contribute our opinions to political discourse if we didn’t vote. It was that simple, no vote, no voice!

            • ‘No vote no voice’
The only time I agreed with the UK tabloid right-wing newspaper The Sun was prior to a General Election day ‘If you don’t vote, you lose the right to complain for the next five years’

  7. I remember that crap about WMD, we heard about it endlessly, over and over on the news, how we were searching frantically (and expensively) for these WMDs, and showing serious looking government people in really good suits discussing this over and over, night after night. And one night, voila, news flash, they had finally found an WMD and we all stared at the tv as they carefully brushed the sand off of it…”property of USA” was clearly visible. ‘okay, boys, let’s go home. fun’s over.”
It’s never been mentioned since. =)
